Candidly, the financial wellness platform, was featured by CBS News as part of its coverage of the World Economic Forum in Davos. "We today exist to crush student debt," says CEO Laurel Taylor, "enabling hard working Americans to go beyond debt into savings and retirement savings via simultaneous progress." Taylor also discussed the passage of the SECURE Act 2.0 in 2022 as a key tool to unlock greater savings potential, by allowing employers to match retirement account contributions against student loan payments.

The Helper Bees, the comprehensive age-in-place platform, secured $35 million in a Series C round. The raise, which included participation from Impact Engine almost exactly three years after our initial investment, was led by Centana Growth Partners. “Every day, we hear stories from families who can sleep a little easier knowing their loved ones have access to the care, services, and independence they deserve." says The Helper Bees CEO Char Hu.

Twentyeight Health, the online repro-care startup, raised $10M in its Series A funding round. As of last October the company, which operates in 43 states and accepts Medicaid, passed its 100,000th customer. "We want to be able for every woman on Medicaid to use our platform, typically a $0 co-pay," says CEO Bruno Van Tuykom. The company saw sales of emergency contraception double following the US Presidential election last year, coinciding with an increase in website traffic.
